Can't adopt a pet? There are other things you can do to help
Hav-A-Hart!! You can make a donation in money or supplies. Hav-A-Hart Pet Rescue does not receive any municipal, city, state or federal funding. All the money to support the animals we help comes from individual donations like yours.

Hav-A-Hart Pet Rescue is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible. Monetary donations may be made through Paypal using your credit card. You do not need a Paypal account to make a donation. Click on the Donate button below to make a donation.

You may sponsor a pet by making a donation for one or more of the following:

Cost of formula
for one orphaned kitten for 8 weeks		 $125
One can of formula $18
Sponsor a cat's vetting -
includes spay/neuter, shots, worming,
revolution, Felv test and food/supplies for one week 		$100
Sponsor a dog -
includes spay/neuter, heartworm test, worming, frontline, shots, and food/supplies for one week 		$175
Sponsor boarding fees for a rescue pet $15 per day
Sponsor an Emergency Room office visit $75
Sponsor a rescue pet to be microchipped $15

  • Donate a food dish or a stainless bucket for a crate

  • Donate a raffle item if your club is holding a fund raiser
  • Donate time to take photos of animals for flyers, etc
  • Donate vet services. ex: spay/neutering sessions or shots

  • Donate printer paper, envelopes and stamps to your club
  • Donate time to wash a rescuers vehicle, inside & out
  • Donate a percentage of a sale for a pup if you are a breeder
  • Donate professional services as an accountant or lawyer
  • Donate other services if you run your own business
  • Donate the use of a vehicle if you own a car dealership
  • Loan your cell phone to someone driving a rescued dog
  • Donate your *used* dog dryer when you get a new one
  • Donate a grid for a van or other vehicle
  • Donate doggy toys that might be safe for rescued dogs
  • Donate a roll-a-treat or Buster cube
  • Donate clickers or a video on clicker training
  • Donate materials for a quarantine area at a foster's home
  • Donate sheets of linoleum or other flooring materials to put under crates to protect the foster's floor
  • Donate an engraving tool to make ID tags for each of the rescued dogs
